When the maximum power of the amplifier is 1000 watts, does that mean 1000 Total two submarines, or is that 1000 watts mean?

I going 2 buy P3D212 Rockford Fosgate subwoofer. Each one is 1000 watts peak power and 500 watts RMS. I do not know much about Ampere car but I'm most likely going with a 2 channel amp M700XE MA. It is 1000 watts of maximum power. I want to know If I watts maximum each (2000 watts). When the maximum power of the amplifier is 1000 watts, does that mean 1000 Total two submarines, or what it means 1000 watts each in making a total of 2000 Watts? Please help

Do not go through Maxx power when buying a system. You need to concentrate solely on power ohms will provide 500 watts into each channel and if you've filled the channels you could overheat the Ampere, because that is his power is 1000 watts. Ca weird, but according to the amps features is what you should spend. You do good to all hook up one channel each and give them 500 watts RMS which is the submarine anyway. If you do this, you will get the most out of your amp and sub as much as RMS power goes. Your submarines can not handle more than 500 watts consistently. I hope this helps and good luck
